Emirates Will Stop All Flights To Doha From Tomorrow

Tonight has been a massive night with breaking news regarding Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt And The UAE Cutting Ties With Qatar. Obviously, this has created mass confusion and there’s a lot of uncertainty in the air. So far, we’ve already seen Etihad cut all services to Doha which comes info effect from tomorrow and they were the first airline to announce their plans regarding the changes. The latest airline to announce their plans is Emirates.

Here is the latest announcement from Emirates:

Suspension of flights between Dubai and Doha with effect from 6 June 2017

As instructed by the UAE government, Emirates will suspend its flights to and from Doha, starting from the morning of 6 June 2017, until further notice.

The last flight from Dubai to Doha will depart as EK847 at 02:30am on 6 June. The last flight from Doha to Dubai will depart as EK848 at 03:50am on 6 June.

Emirates’ flights to and from Doha today (5 June), will operate as normal. Travellers bound for Doha, who are boarding their flight from airports around the Emirates network today (5 June), will be advised to make alternative arrangements.

All customers booked on Emirates’ flights to and from Doha will be provided with alternative options, including full refunds on unused tickets and free rebooking to the nearest alternate Emirates destinations.

The information is almost the exact same as what Etihad have announced. Even though it’s very similar information to what was previously posted, I’ll continue to post updates as things are happening. This bound to have a quite a significant impact on Qatar Airlines, do you know if the countries that have cut diplomatic ties has also extened to a No Fly Zone, that would make approachs into Doha difficult i would imagine?
