A few days ago, I wrote a post called ”5 Ways To Earn Velocity Points Without Flying.” In this post, I mentioned how easy it is to earn points when spending at eligible BP service stations. I also mentioned how it’s extremely worth it to take advantage of promotions.

Velocity is currently running a promotion where you can have a chance to win 1 million Velocity points every day. It’s incredibly easy to register as all you have to do is make a purchase at stores that you can earn points at. You’ll be automatically enrolled and don’t need to do anything extra.

Velocity and BP Partnership

If you’re not familiar with the Velocity and BP partnership, you earn 2 Velocity points per litre of fuel for up to 150 litres and on top of that, you’ll be able to earn 2 Velocity Points per $ up to $100 in a transaction.

It’s also quite interesting that the two companies are running a massive promotion like this considering that the two are currently suing each other…

If you’d like to find out more about the promotion and want to read the T&C’s, click here.

Where are they at with BP trying to cancel the agreement with VA?

Enjoyed your coverage on media watch the other night. Loved the headlines about flying 1st class on a maccas wage….

Why not disclose your affiliation with Virgin Australia? Was surprised to see you pushing their terrible promos until I found out (via Media Watch) that they paid for all your media and PR. Now it makes sense. Also, a piece of advice – you’d be best to address that coverage head on on with your readers and acknowledge it, accept some responsibility for the way your story came across in the media, cop it on the chin, and then move on. Until you do so, people are likely to keep talking about it.

1 – Virgin Australia didn’t pay a cent for me to do any media at all, It was offered to me and I thought it would be a great opportunity. Media Syndicate articles off each other hence why there has been so much of it. 2. I was approached by media watch and explained what had happened, only 4 media companies have actually contacted me for full information. People can assume whatever they want but the media twists things all the time, nothing I can do about it.
