Qantas are again offering a generous promotion which allows flyers to receive 30% off all Economy award tickets on both Qantas and Jetstar. This is the second promotion like this the carrier has done this year, earlier in the year, the airline offered only 25% off so if you didn’t take advantage of that then, this would be a good time to do so.

Registering for this promotion is extremely easy and won’t take up your time. All you have to do is log in to your account (here’s a link if you don’t want to go and find the page). After you’ve registered, all you have to do is book a flight from now until Tuesday the 27th of November. I apologise for the late post but I thought it was still worth pointing out as I’m sure many people will benefit from it.

Now there’s only one real disappointment with the promotion and that’s that you’re only limited to 30% off for New Zealand and Australia flights.

Both Qantas and Jetstar have quite a significant presence in New Zealand so there’s many options to choose from if you’re wanting to use your points. Below is a list of the destination and routes both airlines operate.

Auckland – Brisbane, Auckland – Sydney, Auckland – Melbourne, Auckland – Gold Coast, Auckland – Christchurch, Auckland – Dunedin, Auckland – Napier, Auckland – Nelson, Auckland – New Plymouth, Auckland – Palmerston North, Auckland – Perth, Auckland – Queenstown, Auckland – Wellington, Melbourne – Christchurch, Queenstown – Christchurch, Queenstown – Gold Coast, Queenstown – Melbourne, Queenstown – Brisbane, Queenstown – Sydney, Wellington – Nelson.

Qantas have also brought their A330’s onto the Auckland runs due to Emirates no longer operating the trans-tasman flights from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

The new A330’s are quite comfortable and it’s a great way to get over to New Zealand if seated in the Economy cabin.
