This week is going to be a busy one for me, I’ve got quite a bit of travel planned for various reasons and this week majority of my travel will be onboard Qantas aircraft. I also thought, I’ve missed a huge opportunity to review Australian carriers Economy and Premium Economy products here on BoardingArea so from now on, you’ll also see these being reviewed.

Qantas 717 Business

One of the first aircraft I’ll be travelling on is a 717. I have only flown on the 717 in Business once and I really enjoyed it, the leather seats are comfortable and I’m a fan of the configuration of the aircraft.

Qantas Dash 8 Q400 Economy

I’ll be jumping onboard the always fun Dash 8 Q400 on a short flight from Canberra. I’ve flown the Dash 8 too many times to count to Emerald in Queensland to visit family but never had reviewed it, this time I will be doing so.

I still remember the Qantas 787 unveiling event, it’ll always be a fantastic memory. I got to see the Business and Economy seats up close and personal and I’m excited to fly onboard the aircraft. I’m flying the Dreamliner to and from Perth so thought I’d leave the Business review for a long-haul flight.

Qantas 787-9 Premium Economy

I was unable to attend the launch event for Qantas’s 787 Premium Economy seat but I’ve finally got a chance to go and see how it is for myself. I’ve heard some pretty good things about the product so I’m interested to see how it will perform.

Qantas 737 Business

Qantas 737’s are the backbone of the airline so of course I have to review it. I don’t know how many times I’ve flown the product but there’s finally going to be an updated review of Qantas’s 737 Business Class. I reviewed Qantas’ Jet Connect product a few years ago and the product is quite different to what’s onboard most of the carriers 737’s.

Qantas 737 Economy

I’ve talked to a number of people who have said to me that they’d like to see more economy reviews and I completely get that. I write mainly for a younger audience so it’s always good to cover the basics and the Economy product on the 737 is a vital product I want to review in this series that will be ongoing.

Overall

Yes this isn’t the complete Qantas fleet however as time goes on, the post will be updated with the reviews that are done in the future. All of these flights are this week so posts will be done day by day.

I’ll also be doing this onboard Virgin Australia very soon. I know this may not be overly exciting for my Australian readers but I also have a varied international readership which like to see these products.
