Japan Airlines and Dassault Falcon have recently created a partnership for private jet transfers. The new partnership will see private jet connections available after flying on the Tokyo – Paris leg on JAL. The jet services will be available to greater Europe and Africa though the two are planning to hopefully expand into the United States.
The service which is called ”JAL FALCON Business Jet Service” will be available from May 1st 2017. The service also includes transport from your arriving JAL flight to the Paris Le Bourget jet base.
Per JAL,
The service will rely on a fleet of nine Falcon aircraft, including two recent Falcon7X very long range trijets, operated by DFS, with a pay-as-you-go, all-inclusive pricing structure based on the type of aircraft and the distance traveled. At a later date, it could be extended to the U.S. and other JAL markets.
JAL isn’t the first airline to offer luxury connections…
Many airlines are now starting to offer luxury connections and it’s pretty insane to see how cool they are getting. Recently, Dubai based carrier Emirates announced that they will offer helicopter services from Nice airport to Monaco, this will also include limousine transport to the helipad from Nice airport.
The helicopter transfer service is complimentary for First Class passengers, 79 euro for Business Class guests and 109 euro for Economy Class passengers.
Etihad also offer a service for the Apartments and the Residence
In 2015 Etihad partnered with Victor jet service enabling passengers in the Apartments and the Residence to be able to book both an onboard product and the private jet transfer in one booking through the Victor app.
Victor has access to 7,000 jets and can fly to 40,000 airports which is Massive!
The service is only for A380 destinations, Sydney, Melbourne, London, Paris and New York.
