Thai Airways first class has long been a product I’ve wanted to test out for myself, especially on board the iconic 747. The airline only operated the aircraft on a handful of routes at the time being Bangkok – Seoul, Phuket, Tokyo Haneda, Denpasar & Sydney. As I was coming home back to Australia, I […]
Stranded Australians and New Zealanders have been welcomed back to Australia this morning on board Nepal Airlines Flight RA4133 from Kathmandu, via Kuala Lumpur. The airline evacuated a total of 281 passengers from Nepal consisting of 127 Australian citizens, 149 Australian permanent residents and 5 New Zealand citizens. In a time where Aviation itself is at an ultimate standstill due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, Virgin Australia’s future remains a mystery. This post isn’t going to be the standard size of my regular articles but instead more of a quick update in regards to all of the information going around with airlines and their programs. Virgin Australia has obviously been hit pretty hard with the virus and it’s impacted their operations dramatically, it’s very saddening to […]
Despite all of the airlines I’ve mentioned reducing or massively cutting their services around the world thanks to COVID-19, there’s one carrier that’s doing the opposite. Qatar Airways recently announced they would be placing larger aircraft on pre-existing routes in Australia as well as also introducing a new service for the meantime. The airline isn’t […]

I’ve already reviewed the Intercon and Ritz which you’ll find linked below: Intercontinental […]
As more countries go into lockdown around the world, airlines are very busily making adjustments to their schedules and trying to get everything under control as the damage from COVID-19 continues to unravel at unprecedented levels. Carriers around the world are quickly looking at removing aircraft from their fleet, and in worse cases, bankruptcy is […]
Last week, Qantas put forward their plans for the routes that would be cut and the aircraft grounded amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Among the other important news announced, Qantas didn’t forget to explain what would be happening in regards to lounge access for premium travellers and frequent flyers. Qantas announced that all Chairman’s lounge members, […]
As the situation regarding the virus continues to worsen, more and more airlines are updating their schedules to reflect all of the travel bans and the lesser amount of passengers able to travel. The Middle East seems to have a lower amount of cases compared to the rest of the world, but that has still […]
Finally, it feels fantastic to write about something other than coronavirus related news. This week, in between all of the route changes and fleet grounding, Qantas unveiled a new points program, but it’s got quite a few differences to their already very popular frequent flyer program. The Qantas Points Club is basically a program that […]
All of our airlines in Australia right now are facing events I never even thought I’d see in my lifetime and it’s pretty crazy to think about. So far, Virgin, Qantas and Jetstar have announced that they will be severely dropping routes which means a lot of aircraft will be sitting not being utilised. Due […]
It’s pretty evident, international travel has almost stopped around the world, and that’s pretty crazy to gasp and get your head around. Airlines are facing some of the toughest times they’ve faced, and it’s not looking like it’ll end too quickly. Qantas has been very vocal and good with updating passengers during this time – […]
