Review – Qantas Club Emerald

Normally when I review lounges they are luxurious and quite exclusive, this review will be a little different and thought it would be a fun post.

I recently flew home from Emerald in central Queensland visiting family and on the way home I decided to visit the lounge and review it. Emerald get at max 3 Qantas services a day so I was not expecting much.

First of all here is the entrance:

To enter the lounge you are given a code on your boarding pass.

As you can see the lounge isn’t big but it is comfortable. There was only about 7 people in there for the flight back to Brisbane.

The lounge has various reading material.

The lounge has a small counter with snacks, a coffee and tea machine and a fridge with cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

I do like that they have a small range of snacks available which is pretty good for such a small lounge.

The lounge has outside seating which is nice in winter but not summer, luckily today was raining and it was cool weather.

Bottom Line

I won’t compare this lounge to others because it’s quite different but for what it is it’s ok. Would I spend 3 hours there? No, for an hour or less it’s great to cool down, relax and have a drink.
