Air New Zealand Add Haneda Services

Air New Zealand has today announced that they will start services to Tokyo’s Haneda airport from the 21st of July 2017. The airline will continue services to Narita meaning passengers now have two options.

The new Haneda service will be three times weekly; the flight will depart from Auckland on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The airline will also keep it’s seasonal Osaka flight.

Here is the schedule per routesonline.com

NZ091 AKL1450 – 2300HND 789 357
NZ092 HND0100 – 1440AKL 789 136

The airline will use their 787-9 on the route, the same aircraft used on the Narita flight. Their 787-9 features 18 fully flat herringbone seats, 21 premium economy seats with 8.1” recline, and 263 economy seats with 4.7” recline.

If recommending the flight to people, I would definitely choose the Haneda service as it’s much closer to the city. I can also see this flight filling up very well.
