Today Fiji Airways have announced plans to operate flights to Adelaide from Nadi. The twice weekly service is set to start June 30th, 2017. This will be the 4th route for Fiji Airways as they currently operate to Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

This is the last route announcement this year for the airline, in 2016 they announced San Fransisco and Singapore.

We’re delighted to launch our fourth Australian route, which will allow us to bring our unique Fijian hospitality to South Australia and will provide an alternative route to the United States via Nadi,” said Andre Viljoen, Managing Director and CEO of Fiji Airways.

The airline will operate their 737-800 aircraft on the route which features eight business class seats and 156 economy seats. Business Class seats have 48” of pitch and 18” recline, while the economy has 32” of pitch and 6” of recline. Drop down screens are the entertainment.
