Cathay Pacific Commence Melbourne A350 Services

Cathay Pacific has today commenced A350 services into Melbourne Airport. This is the first aircraft up gauge for Melbourne from Cathay for this year, From march 1st the Hong Kong-based airline will upgrade the CX163/178 service from an A330-300 to a 3 class 777-300ER.

Here is the A350 schedule:

CX105 leaves Hong Kong at 12:05 AM and arrives into Melbourne at 12:20 PM.

CX104 leaves Melbourne at 3:25 PM and arrives into Hong Kong at 9:45 PM.

The airline’s A350 is a 3 class configured aircraft with a brand new Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy product.

Cathay’s A350 Business Class feature 38 lie-flat upgraded Zodiac Cirrus seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. The seats have a pitch of 45 inches, a bed length of 70 inches and a width of 20 inches.

The aircraft also features 28 Premium Economy seats which are in a 2-4-2 configuration. The seats have a recline of 9 inches, a pitch of 40 inches and a width of 20 inches.

And lastly, the Cathay A350 has 214 Economy seats in a 3-3-3 configuration. The seats have 6 inches of recline, 32 inches of pitch and have a width of 18 inches.

Melbourne is the first destination to get Cathay’s A350 in Australia, Brisbane will get the aircraft from March 26th.
