On my recent Europe trip, I was headed to Prague for a few days, and I was flying British Airways from London Heathrow. A few days before my flight I checked to see which terminal the flight departs from and It was T3 which has the brand new Cathay Pacific lounge which only opened in December. Safe to say, I was pretty excited to check it out.

The new London lounge is split into two parts, the First Class section, and the Business Class section. The First section can be accessed by First Class guests on any Oneworld carrier and Oneworld Emeralds, and the Business Class section can be accessed by Business Class guests on Oneworld carriers and Oneworld Sapphire members.

The lounge is almost designed exactly the same at the Pier lounges in Hong Kong.

At the time of visiting it wasn’t too busy as the flight to Hong Kong was boarding but as the night got later it filled up pretty quickly.

The First lounge features a good selection of spirits, wine, and champagne, all of which are self-serve.

The First lounge has a fantastic view of the tarmac and I loved sitting at the window watching aircraft land and takeoff.

Each table features USB power and a powerpoint.

The business section has a large amount of seating and as you can see it’s the same used in the Hong Kong lounges.

The bar in the business lounge isn’t self-serve but does have a much bigger selection surprisingly.

You mentioned champagne in the First Class lounge but what about the business class lounge? Do they serve champagne too, like the Biz lounge in HK?
Sang – They do yes, it’s located at the bar.
If you’ve any influence have CX improve the DNATA lounge in Singapore. Worst of CX lounge experiences. In addition, CX Beijing good and service abysmal.
