A few weeks ago I wrote about Singapore Airlines bringing the A350 back to Melbourne, well the airline has just scheduled the A350 to now operate daily into Melbourne instead of 3 times weekly.
Per routesonline.com
From 12MAY17, SQ207/208 service will be operated by Airbus A350-900XWB on daily basis, instead of 3 weekly A350 and 4 weekly 777-200ER.
This is great news for passengers, The A350 is a brilliant aircraft to fly on and I thoroughly enjoyed my flight on Singapore Airlines’s aircraft a few months ago.
For those not aware here is the cabin layout for the Singapore Airlines A350:
The aircraft has 42 suites which are the newest for the carrier. They are fully flat at 180 degrees, have a pitch of 60, length of 78 and a width of 28 inches. The Business cabin is in a 1-2-1 configuration.
The airline’s A350 has a total of 24 Premium Economy seats. They have a pitch of 38 and a width of 19 inches. The seats are in a 2-4-2 configuration, which is Standard for Premium.
Singapore’s A350 has 187 Economy seats in a 3-3-3 configuration. The seats have a pitch of 32, and a width of 18 inches.
