Malindo Air Commence Brisbane Services

Malaysian based hybrid carrier ‘Malindo Air’ commenced services into Brisbane airport recently. The airline operates from Kuala Lumpur to Brisbane via Denpasar with a Boeing 737-800 & 900 aircraft.

OD157 leaves Kuala Lumpur at 6:05 pm and arrives into Denpasar at 9:10 pm and departs at 10:00 pm, it then continues on and arrives into Brisbane at 05:40 am the next day.

OD158 leaves Brisbane at 07:15 am and arrives into Denpasar at 11:45 am and departs at 12:45 pm. It then continues onto Kuala Lumpur at 3:45 pm.

Julieanne Alroe, Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) CEO and Managing Director, welcomed Malindo Air’s arrival, making it the 30th airline now flying into BNE.

“Committing resources to commence daily services to a new destination is not a decision airlines make lightly, so we commend Malindo Air for putting its faith in Brisbane.

The 737-800 is in a 2 class configuration with Business and Economy. The Business cabin consists of 12 seats in a 2-2 layout.

The aircraft has 150 standard Economy seats in a 3-3 configuration, all with seat back IFE.
