The new kits are a pretty awesome Idea and a lot of them look fantastic. I don’t have any Qantas flights in the near future so not sure If I’ll get any soon but we’ll see what happens.

I like the idea of reflecting local artists and craftspeople in these kits to give them a true unique identity. SAA has recently improved their business class kits with a similar approach from a local artist. Wish QF would do something about their F kits though. The case is pretty blah… (And connecting at LHR, even when sealed, the security dragons insist that the packages be opened and liquids and gels removed and be placed in one’s regular (limited sized) container for carry-ons!)
I agree with both points. The only time I’ve had problems with extra amenities was in LHR as well, pretty ridiculous.
