if you’re a member of Qantas Business Rewards (previously named Acquire), you can get 50% more status credits for a limited time. Sadly this is just for Business people and not for regular travellers.

The bonus in credits can be earned on any Domestic and International Qantas flight in any cabin.

The new promotion is available for bookings from the 18th – 27th of April for travel until the 30th of June. The promotion is quite short but can be incredibly valuable.

All you have to do is register here and when making a booking, make sure to add your companies ABN number and Qantas Frequent Flyer number on the booking. Easy as that.

As a reminder, here are the status credits required for status:

  • Silver status (Oneworld Ruby) requires 300 status credits in a year, 250 to renew the status and lifetime silver is hit at 7,000 lifetime status credits.
  • Gold status (Oneworld Sapphire) requires 700 status credits in a year, 600 to renew the status and lifetime gold is hit at 14,000 lifetime status credits.
  • Platinum status (Oneworld Emerald) requires 1400 status credits in a year and 1200 to renew the status.
  • Platinum One status (Oneworld Emerald) requires 3600 status credits in a year (2.700 on Qantas marketed flights) and is 3,600 to renew it.

If you’re not a member of Qantas Business Rewards and would like to be, you can sign up for free here (it’s normally $89.50). Anyone with a registered Business and ABN can join and there’s no age or income requirement.

The promotion is fantastic for businesses and people spending big money on travel. With the added 50% in status credits, you’ll be able to jump to higher statuses quicker and be able to enjoy the perks of it, like using the Qantas First Class Lounge Sydney.
