Yesterday Vietnam Airlines upgraded their Sydney and Melbourne flights from 777-200ER’s, and A330’s to 787 aircraft.
The change is a welcome upgrade for travelers as their 787’s feature a better business class cabin than the aircraft previously operating the route and strangely their A350’s which is very weird.

Vietnam’s 787 seats 274 and is divided into three cabins. Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class.
The 787 house 28 lie-flat Zodiac Cirrus business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. Each seat offers USB and 110V powerpoint.

The airline has 35 premium economy seats which have 7 inches of recline and is in a configuration of 2-3-2 which is standard for premium.

Lastly, Vietnam has 211 economy seats that have 6 inches of recline in a 3-3-3 configuration on their 787.

The airline has offer business class passengers with a self-serve bar in the back of the cabin, and the aircraft is also fitted with in-flight wifi which anyone can use.
