As you might of seen from my previous posts Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi First Class Lounge To Open May 1? and I’m going to Abu Dhabi for a day! I was headed to Abu Dhabi to review the much anticipated first class lounge.
Originally I was supposed to be flying business both ways but decided last minute to use some velocity points for a first award. Sadly today Virgin Australia have added big fees for Etihad redemptions in all classes.
Etihad currently use a dedicated area for its First and Business class passengers at the end of T3.
The whole area has been renovated and made to look a lot more modern. Etihad have done a great job creating an inviting and beautiful area.

After spending 3 hours in the lounge I fell in love with it, it’s stylish, modern, staff are extremely friendly and the food is amazing!
I would have to say this is my new favourite lounge and I cannot wait to return.
What do you think about the new first lounge?
