Lesson Learned – Always Check Your Seat When Reclining…

Good evening from chilly Prague! I’m currently working on the reviews of the flights getting here, but I thought I’d share a little story and tip that I learned the hard way.

I was flying Emirates first class to London, the flight was fantastic by the way. I needed to go to the bathroom and I was fully reclined so retracted the seat into the take-off position. When it was done I looked down at my shoes and saw my camera like this….f$%&!!

a camera with a broken screen

Luckily the camera is still working but the screen on top doesn’t work, the back is bent in and the black liquid is flowing around the top. Not good.

So I’ve learned my lesson, ALWAYS CHECK THE SEAT WHEN RECLINING OR RETRACTING THE SEAT!
