Hyatt Are Offering 27% Off The Park Hyatt Sydney

The Park Hyatt Sydney is one incredible property. It’s the best hotel in Sydney and I recall it’s the third best in Australia. The hotel is known for the incredible direct views of the opera house, the modern layout and rooms and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the only downside to the property is the cost and it’s large…

The category 7 hotel is often $850+ per night in a standard room which is very high. Luckily the hotel has a sweet spot with Cash and Points which is 15,000 points + $400 AUD which is still high but a much better deal over using 30,000 points for one free night.

The hotel is now 27 years old, it doesn’t look like it at all thanks to the refurbishments but as a celebration, the hotel is currently offering 27% off stays. All you have to do is book a stay 27 days before June 1st, 2017 and you’ll receive the bonus.

While I was looking for stays it would automatically show the discounted pricing but if it doesn’t, use the code: SYD027

Keep in mind, the hotel doesn’t have Suites that World of Hyatt Globalists can be upgraded to. instead, you’ll be upgraded to the Opera House Deluxe rooms which are very, very nice (pending availability of course).

If you’ve never stayed at the Park Hyatt and have wanted to for some time, these are some of the best prices I’ve seen in a long time. The hotel is pricey but the views, service and location are absolutely fantastic for a romantic getaway, if you’ve never visited Sydney before or even just want to experience it like most people. It’s truly and unforgettable and memorable hotel.

The discount is valid for reservations from 05/05/2017 and 06/01/2017 for you’ll need to stay at the hotel between 06/01/2017 through to 06/30/2017.

I dont know why bloggers seem to go crazy about the Park Hyatt Sydney. Sure it’s a nice hotel, but I actually think you are in a better location (and views) from the likes of the Four Seasons, Shang-gri-la Intercontinental etc. Plus with a slew of new hotels opening in Sydney over the next few years (such as the new Sofitel at the convention centre etc), these I think are much better options. Even the new Hyatt Regency at Darling Harbour seems good, at a much lower price point.

I stayed there this week for the first time and really enjoyed it however, for the price they charge it’s not worth it. The Regency is really great and the rates can be fantastic!

While the Park Hyatt Sydney is a nice hotel, it’s a favorite for the cruise ship crowd who tend to graze like beached whales at the pool. I’ll take the Four Seasons any day.

This is my favorite hotel in the world 🙂 – I’m just sad that the special discounted pricing doesn’t extend through July, when I’ll be there next.

I’ve been fortunate that all my stays have either been free of charge, or using points, so the price point hasn’t fazed me yet.
