Review – W Doha Spectacular Room

Last week when I was starting my next trip, I had booked for 2 nights in Doha. I decided to book the W which I was excited to review. In the end, I decided I’d only stay one night instead as I found availability sooner on an Emirates First flight so decided to leave Doha early.

I only got to spend a couple of hours at the W Doha as I had to fly to Dubai through Muscat which meant most of the day flying.

I booked a nightly rate of just under $280 AUD and that booked me into a Spectacular room. The hotel was very busy at the time of check-in and the manager explained that the hotel was actually full for the night.

The W Doha has a total of 442 guest rooms including suites and is a category 4 property in the Bonvoy program.

The size of Spectacular room measures out to be 44sqm. The room includes a large bathroom ensuite, a minibar, a desk, and a selection of snacks available for purchase.

The bathroom was really bright as well as spacious and I found it to be extremely clean when I checked in.

The shower was also very large which is always a nice feature in hotels.

Overall

I only got to spend hours here instead of a full night which would have made the post more in depth but it’s still worth showing what the room itself looks like. One thing I will say is that the air-con was especially appreciated as the weather in Doha was getting to 43 degrees plus!
