Review – Park Hyatt Dubai

Summary:

A few weeks ago I was in Dubai for 3 days in transit for Singapore. I was travelling with a good friend and we decided it would be a fun idea to try 3 different hotels for 3 nights. Days before leaving for the trip I had recently being given Hyatt Platinum from a status match they were offering. So I really wanted to make use of my Platinum benefits, they are listed here:

I had heard some fantastic reviews about the Park Hyatt Dubai and decided to give it a try for 2 reasons, 1. It was conveniently located near DXB which was great as we had a flight early the next morning, 2. There are so many fantastic facilities in and around the hotel such as a golf course. We had planned to have a game but It was very windy when we arrived which was a shame.

Check-in:

Arriving at the Hotel is fantastic!. Its a very modern fresh look which I love. When we pulled up to the drop off area we were greeted by some of hotels extremely friendly staff which took our bags and escorted us to the check-in counters. We were checked-in within minutes and we upgraded to a deluxe room, not a huge upgrade but better then nothing.

Overall I loved my stay at the Park Hyatt Dubai. If I had a few more days in Dubai it would be my go to hotel, room prices are quite good in off peak times and they are also very generous with upgrades from what I’ve heard.
