Singapore Airlines recently announced their brand new First Class suites, Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class for their A380’s at a vip media event in Singapore. I wasn’t at the event but I was given the very rare privilege to join a small group of travel writers and journalists on the delivery flight of the carriers new aircraft. Part of the itinerary includes visits to Airbus’ facilities both in Hamburg (which was today) and Toulouse which is the next 2 days.
Today we had the opportunity to go onboard the almost complete A380 for a full tour of all the cabins. Business Class, Premium and Economy are complete with the new Suites awaiting final components and fitting.
The new aircraft will depart Toulouse at 2:00pm on the 13th of December and arrive in Singapore at 10:00am the following day.

I’m not going to write much for this post as I’m more showcasing the cabins, I will write an in-depth post once the cabins are fully completed.

Overall the new cabins look fantastic and I can’t wait to see the fully completed product, especially the new suites. Once the aircraft Is fully complete I’ll do a new post with the new images which will be more in-depth.
What do you think of the new cabins?
Zac (Points From The Pacific) is travelling as with other journalists as a guest of Airbus and Singapore Airlines.

Do my eyes deceive me or are some of the suites larger than others? Suite 3A looks significantly larger than Suite 1A.
I think it’s the fact that 3A just has nothing fitted in it yet 😉
It looks like the seat-backs will allow NFC payments (aka Apple Pay or Android Pay). I wonder what they are hoping that people will order from the seat-back?
Duty free most likely
Wonder what the metal contacts in between the headphone jack pins is in PE?
Just flew PE in the current a380 and they weren’t there
How were the bulkhead Business Class seat pairs in the middle that make the double bed? Did they look more spacious/are they more spacious than the others? Keen to see the footwell of these seats to see how the double bed will be achieved and if it will have a similar level of privacy to all the other business seats. Are the seats on a similar or different angle to the other Business seats?
