Qatar Introduce New BRICS Amenity Kits

Qatar Airways has just shown off its new amenity kits. The airline has dropped its partnership with Armani and gone with Italian designer BRICS and Castello Monte Vibiano Vecchio. This is quite surprising considering the airline updated their Armani kits 2 months ago.

Per Qatar,

Qatar Airways has partnered with BRICS in an exclusive three-year term to provide its premium travellers with the finest keepsake amenity kits. The amenity kits also exclusively feature products from Italy’s Castello Monte Vibiano Vecchio, the environmentally friendly olive oil company, including lip balm, hydrating facial mist and City Cream anti-ageing moisturiser in Business Class, with the added Night recovery cream for First Class kits.

The new kits will come in 4 colours. Black, Grey, Burgandy and White.

Qatar will use the new kits for both business and first class, here are what they will look like:

First Class

Business Class

Business class passengers will also receive the new kits, here is what they’ll look like:

Personally, I’m not a fan of the change as I always loved the Armani products on Qatar. I thought the airline had the best kits, but now I don’t think so.

I think this is a sign of cost cutting by the airline as Armani products are quite expensive and they were very popular.
