It’s a well-known fact that Asia is a massive travel market. It’s also well known that Middle Eastern carriers love to expand services and Asia is a major region they love to expand.
One airline that especially loves Asia is Qatar Airways and they really love Indonesia. The carrier has just said that they will now have 3 daily services to Bali instead of the current 2.

Bali isn’t a business destination but is extremely leisure traveller orientated. The airline currently uses an A330, 77W and the third service will be utilising the carriers 787-8 aircraft. The new service will officially start on the 7th of May 2017.
Here is the new schedule for the 787.

The 787-8 is in a 2-class configuration with Business and Economy Class. The aircraft features 22 B/E Super Diamond Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration and 232 Recaro Economy seats in a 3-3-3 configuration.

The 787-8 is also the first aircraft on the route to feature in-flight wifi and to feature direct aisle access to every Business Class passenger as the A330 and 777 feature 2-2-2 Business seating.
The move is fantastic news for travellers as it adds more flexibility and a much newer product to what the other aircraft offer. It’s also great news for award travellers as the award space on the route is quite fantastic.
