If you’ve been watching the news over the past few days or simply keeping up to date on social media, I almost guarantee you would have seen something about the upcoming industry strikes that will be happening from Qantas’ LCC, Jetstar.
The budget carrier will be subject to more 100 flight cancellations as staff from the airline will not be showing up to work and industry action will be taking place, these job roles include baggage handlers, ground support staff and even pilots.
I try and keep my blog as travel-oriented as possible and tend to not touch on sensitive topics but I thought it’d be worthwhile posting this information as a lot of customers will be affected by these strikes.

As you can see, the majority of the cancellations will be domestic services with only a few Bali flights getting the cut over the next few days. During these strikes, Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that the airline will use larger aircraft as well the possibility for passengers to be moved onto Qantas services.
