Hyatt Regency Sydney Now Open

Hyatt has recently opened their brand new Hyatt Regency in Sydney. This is the second Hyatt property in Sydney and 6th in Australia. The building used to be the Four Points which was an SPG property.

The hotel is category 5 in the Hyatt award chart and requires 20,000 points for a redemption.

Hotel features include:

  • Complimentary wifi
  • 24-hourr gym
  • Club lounge
  • Meeting rooms

The hotel has 892 rooms ranging from Standard, Standard with a view, Deluxe, Club, and Suites.

After launching this hotel, Hyatt has said that they are looking to expand again in Australia again. The company had quite a few properties however, they closed quite a few of them due to not enough demand. Brisbane is a point of interest at this time.

Bottom Line

The property looks brilliant and a great fit for Sydney. I’m a fan of the Hyatt portfolio and would like to stay there sometime. This hotel is a great alternative to their big brother the Park Hyatt.
