Here’s What The New W Brisbane Will Look Like

Last year I wrote a post about the next 10 Starwood properties to open in Australia. If you’re not familiar with the Australian hotel scene, here’s a quick rundown. We currently have a very limited number of chain hotels but in the next 2 years that is going to change, there’s going to be 10 properties being opened which is fantastic news!

If you didn’t know, I’m based in Brisbane but most think I’m in Sydney. In Brisbane, we currently only have 1 Starwood hotel and that’s the Four Points. Late this year, we’ll be getting a W and at the start of next year, we’ll be getting a Westin.

At the time of writing the post, there weren’t many photos available of the hotels but there’s now a heap more of the W and I’d thought it would be cool to share them. All photo’s courtesy of Starwood.

The hotel is supposed to be opening on December the 22nd which is earlier than what was planned. It was originally supposed to be opening in early 2018 but it’s nice that it’ll open earlier.

This will also be the second ever W property in Australia which is pretty cool. The next W property to open in Australia will be in Melbourne and that’s set to open sometime in 2020.
